The location is perfect for shopping/sightseeing. close to central station, nice shoppingcentra and Karl Johan.Parking possible in parkinghouse on the other side of the street.
Room was very very basic and old. No comfort at all. if you just sleep here it is OK,
Convinient place that's all.
Good breakfast, good location from the central station.
Central location was easy to navigate from the train station to city centre.
Tiny, narrow, sad room on the top floor with dirty windows and a bleak view of the parking lot.
Extremely comfortable bed, great after a long day at work.
The air conditioning system was very noisy and could not be turned off.
Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection. It was also from 7 to 11 so wasn't finished too early. Hotel is right in the centre of Oslo just 5 mins walk from the central Bus Station as well.
The lifts only worked occasionally whilst we were in the hotel. The room didn't have a/c so was very warm all the time.
Close the train station in the city center.
I didn't get the room I ordered, they were all busy. It took them 40 minutes to check me into my room. They changed my room 3 times, and some of which weren't clean.
Beliggenhet . Stor rom. Rolig. Utmerket frokøst . Bra senger.
Very bad chairs in the lobby. Can not sit well at all. Never saw this kind of chair designs in my life. 4 chairs only in the lobby. Those with spine and neck problem dont even think about sitting there. In the room too. Just one chair only for a double room. One chair for dressing table is ok but one chair for sitting which is the worst type I ever found. I got to lie down on bed all the time. I paid 1099 krs for which I could get 5 star facilities in other cities. Too expensive and too bad facilities . Room is big enough and breakfast excellent. Location best. They got nice sofas on 2 nd floor near breakkfast room but no outside view or windows there . Its a closed room. They need to put 2 nice , easy chairs in the room and should bring down sofas from 2 nd floor to the lobby. I wont go back there again.
Good location near the train station and hotel was clean and comfortable. The cold selection of the breakfast was very good. The Nespresso machine in the foyer (free), the mid-week light dinner service (free) and speed of the internet were nice touches.
The hotel is starting to reflect its age and the rooms that we stayed in during our two visits were tired and both in need of an upgrade. No plug in the bathroom sink in one room, the shower spray went everywhere but within the shower base and the air conditioning was very noisy. The hot selection of the breakfast was either over cooked or cold. The rooms were expensive for the standard received.
Location was good for access to sights and very convenient for train and bus terminals for airport transfer, breakfast was excellent, finding the hotel was easy.
Room overlooked car park with windows allowing too much noise to get through. Aircon to keep the room cool Wouldve been nice as it did get too warm. Beds were too soft for my personal liking but not too small.
I was lucky enough to get a special offer on a room for a short stay which made it good value for money. It is very close to the station, but that is a mixed blessing as it's not a very salubrious area. The room was comfortable with all the expected facilities. The breakfast was good. I was travelling alone but was pleased to see a special menu and a playroom for children.
Quite hard to find even though it's very close to the station - the entrance is inconspicuous. There didn't seem to be any regular channels available on the tv, just the offer of a package of films and tv channels at a very high cost. At the rate I paid, it was good value for money, but when I enquired about booking for a night or two on my return journey, I was offered a far higher rate.
What we were looking for! Location near City Centre and Central Railway Station. Clean friendly and comfortable.
This is a budget hotel so don't expect the (un-needed) frills of the large hotel chains!
This hotel is very well located for anyone traveling by train. It was easy to find and only about 3 minutes walk from the main station. The staff was very pleasant and spoke English. Our room was rather small, but it was clean, comfortable and quiet. It served us well since we had an early train the next morning. Breakfast was very good.
-Spacious, comfortable room and bathroom, very clean. -The best breakfast choice I have ever met at any hotel I have ever stayed at, the norwegian breads are just amazing ! The breakfast kept me going for the whole day. -Staff at the reception speak fluent English.
-Too few members of staff at the reception desk (=2) and I could sense their frustration. I think 1 additional person would be very helpful. - There is supposed to be a dinner buffet from Monday to Thursday, but there wasn't one on Wednesday. Also on Tuesday, when I came to the cantine 45 minutes before the end, there was hardly anything left to eat.
Thought it was a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It was a idea base for me to use to explore the city.
The choice of food for breakfast and being put on the 6th floor with no view.
